so where was I… the at times annoying din of Israelis shouting at each other is giving me a head ache! I want to yell at them "Nu, lama kol kach rash!" "SHEKEt" AS IN HEY WHAY SO MUCH NOISE, QUIET!" Dont get me wrong I love Israelis and I used them for information but at the times they get on my nerves. Right now I am cranky, I am hot and tired and the last three days would push Gandhi and Mother Teresa to wanting to "go postal" . Ok maybe they have more patience than I do but still one could go insane at times with the honking, the smog, the lies, the language barrier and the heat. However, Indians are so adapted to it and they do not seem bothered by nearly anything. They do too go bonkers and we have seen on the news nearly a riot a day here or there but even that seems comical. They rioted in Bangalore because a bollywood star died. The police unprepared were being beated by the rioters who were laughing as they rioted. They made it look more fun than scary. The unwittng police we watched live on the news as three of them tried to operate a tear gas gun. Once loaded they fired it repeatedly into the trees above them which broke branches and than the smoke headed towards them. They were not wearing gas masks so they had to flee from their own tear gas! Very UNLIKE THE NYPD! Which would have declared "Giulliani Time" and went "Abu grahbi" on the crowds. So I am here and the country is onverge of total chaos and civil war. The Royalist must step down! There is a general strike, roads are blocked, people are rioting, and no one knows what will happen next. We will start making the film tommorow. We are very excited to do so.

The last days in Varanassi were intense. The corpse eating dogs, the burning Ghats, the happy children bathing, the temples, Goldie Hawns Indian Guru astrologer all made for a very intense experience. To see people bathing, brushing their teeth, shitting, all with in feet of burnng bodies and bloated corpses being eaten were a lesson of the contrast of life and death. Life and death side by side exist on the ganges and in ways in our daily lives. Now I will seek out Buddist temples…
There is so much to account for gentle reader but this traveller is tired so for now I shall say goodbye….
